Safety & Installation

Last updated September 28, 2026

Comfort starts with a safe installation and informed use. Always follow the instructions supplied with the sauna, plunge and installed equipment.

Professional installation

Electrical, plumbing, structural and other regulated work should be performed by appropriately qualified or licensed professionals where required. Required circuits, GFCI protection, clearances, ventilation, drainage and equipment placement must follow applicable codes and the equipment manufacturer's instructions.

Heat and cold exposure

Saunas and cold plunges expose users to elevated heat or cold and can create risks including burns, overheating, dizziness, fainting, cold stress and falls. Enter and exit carefully, do not exceed applicable equipment/use instructions, and stop use if you feel unwell.

Health information

Rooted Oax products are sold for sauna, cold-plunge and wellness/recreation use. Rooted Oax does not provide medical advice and does not promise that a product will diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition. Anyone with a medical condition, pregnancy, medication concern or uncertainty about heat/cold exposure should seek appropriate medical guidance before use.

Supervision and impairment

Children and anyone who may need assistance should be appropriately supervised. Do not use sauna or plunge equipment when alcohol, drugs, medication effects or another condition makes safe judgment, balance or temperature awareness unreliable.

Water and equipment care

Follow chiller, heater, pump, sanitation, water-treatment, cleaning and maintenance instructions. Use only compatible components and chemicals and keep electrical equipment protected as required by its instructions and applicable code.
