A dedicated plunge with a cedar finish brings the cold-water ritual into your own space. Rooted Oax builds one cold plunge, the Glacier Reserve, in three exterior finishes with an optional chiller.

Full T1-11 siding ($3,200), Half cedar / half siding ($3,500), Full cedar ($3,700). All are about 6′ L × 3′ W × 2.5′ H.

Optional chiller
Standard Chiller +$300 (more affordable, a little slower) or performance chiller +$2,000 (higher performance). Choose one, or none.
Planning a cold plunge
- Choose a spot with room to get in and out safely and a path for delivery; describe slopes, gates, stairs or soft ground when we confirm your order.
- A chiller needs suitable power. Circuits, GFCI protection, clearances, drainage and equipment placement must follow local codes and the chiller manufacturer’s instructions, with qualified or licensed professionals where required.
- Plan your water care. Follow the chiller and tub manufacturer’s treatment instructions, never combine chemicals, and confirm any treatment and filter are compatible with your system.
- Cold exposure carries risks, including cold stress and falls. Enter and exit carefully and stop if you feel unwell.
What’s included
- Taxes, delivery, site preparation, foundations or pads, permits, inspections, electrical work, plumbing, utility upgrades and installation are additional unless your written order specifically includes them.
- Website prices, builder totals and dimensions are estimates until your order is confirmed: the final products, specifications, materials, options, price and scope are confirmed in writing (Terms of Sale).
- Natural wood varies — grain, knots, tone, checking and weathering are part of the material, and finished products are not identical to concept images in every detail.

Cold plunge questions
Which chiller should I choose?
The standard chiller (+$300) is the more affordable choice and cools a little more slowly. The performance chiller (+$2,000) is the higher-performance option. The chiller is optional, and equipment details are confirmed with your order.
Can I order online?
Fully priced saunas and cold plunges show a “Buy now” button in the builder. When online checkout is open it takes you to secure Stripe checkout (card, or Affirm financing subject to approval); sales tax is added there, and delivery is arranged and quoted separately after purchase. Anything not yet priced — or any build you would rather discuss first — goes through a quote request or a free consultation instead.
Is the builder price the final price?
The builder shows the website price for the size, heater and options you choose. Taxes, delivery, site preparation, electrical work and installation are additional unless your order includes them, and — as the Terms of Sale explain — specifications and dimensions are confirmed in writing with your order.
